What we provide, and what to expect.

Good treatment starts with knowing exactly what is driving your symptoms. That is why every consultation runs for 45 minutes, in a clinic led by APA Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists. For each service below, we set out what happens in the session, who you will see, what you leave with, and what it costs.

01

Services

What you can book with us. No referral needed.

Physiotherapy

For pain, injury or stiffness from everyday life, work or training, including neck and back pain that is persistent, recurring or complex. The right first booking if you are unsure.

In the session
A detailed history, movement, strength and load testing, then hands-on treatment and exercise in the same visit.
You will see
A physiotherapist from our team, or an APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist for complex cases and second opinions.
You leave with
A clear explanation of what is driving your symptoms, a home program, and an expected number of sessions.

Dry Needling

Fine filament needles used alongside exercise and hands-on care to reduce muscle sensitivity, including orofacial dry needling for jaw and face pain.

In the session
Discussed and consented first, then used as one part of your treatment rather than on its own.
You will see
Any physiotherapist on our team, all with further training in orofacial dry needling.
You leave with
A treatment plan where needling supports, rather than replaces, your exercise program.

Vestibular Physiotherapy

For dizziness, vertigo or imbalance, which can come from the inner ear, the neck, or both.

In the session
Positional testing for BPPV, eye movement and balance testing, and a neck examination. Repositioning manoeuvres when BPPV is found.
You will see
A physiotherapist with vestibular training.
You leave with
An explanation of which system is involved, and gaze and balance exercises to do at home.

TMJ Physiotherapy

For jaw pain, clicking, locking or clenching, and the neck pain that often comes with them.

In the session
Jaw and upper neck assessment, including intra-oral examination and treatment.
You will see
A physiotherapist trained in intra-oral treatment.
You leave with
A plan for the jaw and neck together, coordinated with your dentist or oral and maxillofacial surgeon where needed.

Headache Physiotherapy

For recurring headaches where the upper neck may be contributing, including some that have been diagnosed as migraine.

In the session
An upper neck examination using the Watson Headache® Approach, testing whether your familiar headache can be reproduced and eased from the neck.
You will see
A physiotherapist trained in the Watson Headache® Approach.
You leave with
Whether your neck is involved, a treatment plan, and a referral back to your GP or neurologist where the findings point elsewhere.

Sydney Tinnitus Clinic

For tinnitus that changes when you clench, move your neck or press on a muscle, known as somatic tinnitus, and for tensor tympani syndrome.

In the session
Testing whether jaw, neck and muscle input changes your tinnitus, and assessment of the middle ear muscles.
You will see
An APA Titled Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist.
You leave with
Whether a somatic component is present, a treatment plan, and liaison with your audiologist or ENT.
02

Rehabilitation Programs

Structured rehabilitation with a defined pathway, progressed against measured strength milestones rather than time alone.

Return-to-Sport Rehabilitation

For athletes recovering from injury who need a staged path back to training and competition.

In the session
Strength and asymmetry testing with VALD dynamometry at set stages, force plate testing arranged offsite where needed, and sport-specific rehab between tests.
You will see
A physiotherapist with AFL, rugby union, swimming, triathlon or basketball experience.
You leave with
Your results against your other side and return-to-play criteria, and a plan for each stage.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

For recovery after ACL reconstruction, joint replacement, and shoulder or spinal surgery. Includes our structured ACL program.

In the session
Rehab matched to your surgeon's protocol, with objective strength testing to decide when each stage is complete.
You will see
A physiotherapist from our team, with the same clinician throughout where possible.
You leave with
A stage-by-stage plan, and progress updates sent to your surgeon.
